This was a cast from where I keep broken off or partial casts. I used it as a test piece to try out my new powder coat gun. It turned out looking really nice. The powder coat color is "cast iron." I posted a pic to Instagram and was going to throw it back in the scrap pile until someone inquired about it. So, I fixed it up on a base and gave it to them since I hadn't planned on doing anything with it anyway.

I had to use epoxy putty to create a solid point at the bottom of the cast in order to have a solid point for a screw hole. It's mounted to a purpleheart board that I had made back when I was making mushroom casts.
